BIG CHANGES AT WC

Hello everyone!
As some of you may know, Megan is a member of another cosplay group called The Bet is Off 
! Well, after a lot of deliberation, TBiO has invited Alaina to join the group! It's exciting and sounds like it's going to be a great time!
! Well, after a lot of deliberation, TBiO has invited Alaina to join the group! It's exciting and sounds like it's going to be a great time!But what does that mean for What Cosplay?
Over time, WC has gone from a group of several people to just a few. Because of this, WC is now comprised essentially of Megan and Alaina. Since we're also a part of TBiO, we'll be posting almost all group cosplays there.
But wait!
That doesn't mean WC won't ever get updated again! Since Alaina and Megan are roommates, it means we get up to some interesting two-person cosplays quite often! Whenever that happens, we'll post them here!
So essentially:
- If we cosplay and there's more than just us, go check out The Bet is Off!
- If we cosplay and it's just Alaina and Megan, you'll find it here!
So what's coming up for both accounts?
For WC, we're looking forward to:
- Rurouni Kenshin (Youmacon 2013)
- Okami (Ohayocon 2014)
- Hakuouki
- And a lot more!
At TBiO we'll soon be having:
- DRAMAtical Murder (Youmacon 2013)
- And many more!
We know it's confusing that we're splitting activity, but we'll try to keep our journals as updated as possible about the events going on at both groups! Look to those to keep you posted, or even better, go ahead and follow , too, so you can get all of the updates!

Excited for Jafax 2013

Hello! It's been a while, hasn't it?
A lot of things have been happening for us over at What Cosplay! We all had to recover from ACen 2013 (which was FANTASTIC), Morgan graduated, and Megan moved back up to Michigan! Because of all of that, cosplay has been coming along at a slow but steady pace.
In a few weeks it'll be time for Jafax! Unfortunately, only Megan and Alaina can make it, but they'll be cosplaying as Gojyo and Hakkai from Saiyuki Reload. Alaina will also be making an appearance as release form Hakkai. If you happen to see us there, please stop by and say hello!
Aside from Jafax, we're looking forward to Youmacon! Plans for Youma include many interesting things like Red vs. Blue, Okami, Saiyuki Gaiden, and Starfighter, so we hope you look forward to it!

Hello everyone! We hope you're all doing well!
Recently, What Cosplay has been getting ready for Anime Central! It's next weekend! We're sure some of you are going, and it'd be great to see you there!
Megan, Alaina, Morgan, and Jasmyn have been hard at work trying to finish Saiyuki in time for the convention! It's starting to come together! Keep your eyes open for us on Saturday and Sunday! Jazz is going as Goku, Morgan as Sanzo, Alaina as Hakkai, and Megan as Gojyo! Plus we'll be meeting up with the ever-wonderful
at some point, who will also be cosplaying as a version of Gojyo at the con! It's an Anime Central packed with western journeys, quarreling boys, and hinted love! XD
Aside from Saiyuki, Alaina and Megan are probably pulling Hanna is Not a Boy's Name back out! Morgan is working hard on her turn tables for Dave, too! We really hope to be able to post quite a lot of pictures here afterwards! We hope you're looking forward to it!
Anyway, if you're at the convention and you see us, feel free to say hello! It'd be fantastic to run into you!

April Showers Bring May Flowers

But what the hell do May flowers do for the rest of us? /Discover the New World is what/.

Now that we have your attention with a joke, we hope that everyone is doing well! We here at WhatCosplay have been a little bogged down with school work, but we've been managing to attend conventions on top of everything else!
Morgan, Jazz, Megan, Cloud, and Aubrey all attended Shutocon 2013 this past weekend, and despite a few malfunctions, everybody looked great and really did have a good time, overall. Morgan, Megan, and Cloud cosplayed Roosterteeth!Stuck on Friday. Megan and Cloud then cosplayed Rufioh and Horuss on Satruday, while Morgan cosplayed Feferi. Aubrey, on the other hand, rocked an awesome Sherlock cosplay on Saturday. We'll get around to posting some pictures from that, soon!
In other news, other cons are right around the corner! Between everyone in the group, we have plants on attending both Acen and Jafax, with tentative hopes of attending Colassalcon as well.
HOWEVER, we feel that it would be best to mention that many of our members are slowly going to start decreasing the number of Homestuck costumes that we're wearing to cons. We're not done cosplaying Homestuck all together, as we do still have private shoots in the works for many more cosplays, but we'd all like to begin moving on a little big from strict Homestuck cosplay! We really love you all a lot, so please look forward to some of our in-the-works cosplay groups that incluuuuuuude:
Rise of the Guardians (Acen)
Saiyuki (Jafax)
Red vs. Blue (Youmacon)
Okami (Youmacon)
And a TON of other awesome stuff for future speculation!

Ohayocon~!

Hey, guys! It's been a long time since we updated! This is Megan here, and I wanted to let you all know what's going on!
Our lovely Mikayla invited Alaina and me to go to Ohayocon with her this month, so Alaina and I have been scrambling to get costumes ready for that! All of us are sure to have fun, and that means you get to see some awesome (hopefully) pictures from it, too! We're still debating casting at the moment, though.
Aside from that, we're all coming back from Christmas break feeling relaxed and excited!
For anyone interested, up-and-coming cons for 2013 that we're sure about are:

We hope we'll get to see you guys there! Hope you're all doing well, too! ;u;
